Healing In The Aftermath Of Hate
Feedback form is now closed.

When white supremacist Wade Michael Page murdered seven people, one of the victims being Pardeep's father, the Sikh community was devastated. In the aftermath of the Oak Creek shooting, Pardeep leaned on his faith and looked for answers from those that once lived the life of hate. An encounter with Arno Michaelis, former white supremacist, would follow. Pardeep will highlight the journey of these two men who breached a great divide to find brotherhood and love. In a world that seems to be tearing itself at the the seams, divided by identity, becoming more intolerant, xenophobic, and spiritually ill, it is essential that we remain committed to compassion. This talk will explore the role of both communal and individual trauma and healing.
